The Eagles Wrestling Club Welcomes You

The Eagles Wrestling Club is a community club open to all girls and boys at all levels of experience in Kindergarten through 8^th grade. Over the last 7 years our roster has averaged more than 60 wrestlers.

We practice in the Saydel High School Wrestling Room located at 5601 NE 7th Avenue in Des Moines.

Our coaching staff is made up of volunteer coaches, with many years of wrestling experience. Our focus is on teaching the wrestlers the fundamentals of wrestling while having fun and being part of a team. We stress strong values in academics, character building, citizenship, and sportsmanship in addition to being a successful wrestler. We strive for our wrestlers to realize the rewards of their hard work and dedication is them becoming successful in all areas and being great student athletes. We feel this teaches self discipline and furthers their commitment and desire to succeed.

The purpose of our website is to provide information to those interested in the wrestling club and its activities.  We also want it to be a communication tool to inform parents and fans of our club’s activities and the success of our wrestlers.
