Austin Pyles

I have been wrestling for two years and my record this year is 19-13 with 10 pins. I like meeting and wrestling new kids. My favorite part about wrestling is getting pins for my hat. At North I won my first tournament. I am sad that the wrestling season is over, but I am looking forward to wrestling next year. Thanks coaches!!

I am currently 40-10 for this year with 27 pins. My career record is currently 146-63 with 94 pins. My greatest accomplishments to date are placing 2nd in the AAU Winter Nationals in Omaha in January and 8th at the Iowa Grade School Championships in February.

I've been wrestling for 3 years. I love to wrestle. I'm glad that I have my coaches. My record this year is 24-15. My favorite move is the single arm bar and rolling up the wrist. Thank you coaches John, Brian, Shane, Rob, and Randy!

I work really hard at wrestling and I'm really excited about coming back next season. Going from knowing nothing about wrestling to winning 1st place at Newton has really been a feather in my cap.

This is my 1st year in wrestling. I have only been to one tournament but will be doing more. The thing I like to do the most at practice is "King of the Mat". The worst part about wrestling is getting put in a choke hold.	I really like wrestling. This is my 4th year. My career record is 98-41 with 59 pins. Last weekend I wrestled for the first time outside of Iowa and against someone from another state. Wrestling isn't easy and it takes a lot of work and practice.

This is my 1st year wrestling. I really enjoy it. I've been to 3 tournaments this year and my record is 2 wins and 6 losses. Each tournament I have been making better progress.	I've been with the Eagles Wrestling Club for 4 years now and works very hard in the wrestling room and at tournaments. Many of the newer kids look up to me on and off the mat. My dad and mom are very proud of me. They tell me to keep up the good work.

I like wrestling because it's fun. My favorite move is the Half Nelson. My record this year is 11-10 with 5 second place finishes.	This is my 5th year of wrestling. I love wrestling and love perfecting my technique. I placed 5th at the AAU SPW State Tournament as a 2nd grader. I have a record of 28-5 this year with 18 pins. My career record is 134-58 with 85 pins.

This is my first year wrestling and I love it! I have 4 wins and 4 losses.	My record for this year is 5-4 with 1 pin so far. I have been working harder than ever & I love wrestling. I'm very proud to be one of the younger kids in the advanced practices.

Josh Gurnick	Bryce Camp

This is my first year wrestling and I love it. I have a 2-1 record and finished 2nd @ the Waukee Tournament. I like to do the 1/2 nelson. Wrestling is a lot tougher than I thought. My coaches are great!	Bryce had 23 wins, 18 losses, and 8 pins last year. Bryce had an 11 second pin and got the fastest pin trophy at Knoxville on January 8, 2008. He went to Super Pee Wee State in March. This year, he has 6 wins, 3 losses, and 5 pins. Bryce was part of the advanced wrestlers who all place 1st at Martensdale on November 22.
