| I'm in the 1st grade and this is my 1st year wrestling. My record is 14 - 12, with 7 pins. One of my favorite moves is the deep waist far ankle. | I'm in the 4th grade and this is my 5th year wrestling. My record is 9 - 10, with 6 pins. I enjoy going to practices and working hard to improve. My favorite move is the double leg take down. I've learned a lot the season from my coaches. |

| This is my first year of wrestling. I got my first pin at the Prairie City Monroe tournament. My favorite move the the switch. I wrestle my brother, Conner and my friend, Theron all the time. | This is my 2nd year and the hard work is beginning to pay off. I have had 2 tournament wins @ Waukee and Carlisle. I've had 3 Runner-up finishes @ North, Saydel, and Colfax-Mingo. My goals for the rest of the season are to qualify for the state tournament, continue to give my best at practice, and help my teammates get better too. I've enjoyed this year because I'm seeing that what we practice does work in the matches. Thanks to all the coaches!! |

| This is my 2nd year wrestling and I'm in the 3rd grade. I think wrestling is fun, because I like to wrestle other people. I enjoy practice because I get a lot of exercise. | I have been going to practices since I was 5 years old. I didn't want to go to a tournament until this year. Now I want to wrestle as many as I can. I have shown great improvement and excitement for the sport. With a record of 2 - 8, I'd like to improve next year. | My record this year so far is 15 - 5 with 10 pins. This my 3rd year of wrestling. We recently went to Nationals in Omaha and I got 1st place. Wrestling is one of my favorite sports and I love it. |
